The Carlos Club asks that men wear collared shirts and no baseball hats after 9:00 pm on Friday and Saturday nights - thank you.
The Carlos Club has been a fixture of the San Carlos social scene since 1947. The Club’s Art Deco look, featuring Carrara glass, round porthole windows and a distinctive neon sign, has earned it a well-regarded reputation as one of the most unique buildings on the Peninsula. Thousands of people can recall having their first legal drink or singing Karaoke in the Club over the last several decades.
However, the new ownership promises that once you walk through our distinctive front door, the NEW Carlos Club will be nothing like the old club. Beginning in January of 2008, the Carlos Club has undergone a complete renovation. Incorporating the old Greyhound bus terminal into the Club gives much more space and opens the Club up. From the black granite bar top to the slate tiled bathrooms to the walnut framed porthole windows, the new Carlos Club gives its patrons a place to socialize in a warm, friendly, and classy environment. State-of-the-art audio and four video 50 inch high definition video screens will enhance the Carlos Club experience for everyone.
Eight beers on tap and more than twenty bottled beers in the cooler, a bar that features high end brands and ten Carlos Club signature drinks, and fine wines will whet the appetite of our patrons. Make sure to visit our menu page for a list of our signature drinks, and the beers and wines we will be serving.
This is not your mother and father’s Carlos Club; it’s not even your older brother or sister’s Carlos Club. This is the NEW CARLOS CLUB-the club you will want to call your favorite lounge in town!
